I have spent the Summer among the flowers at Lower Norton Flower Farm in Hampshire. Alison Coleman who created the farm, is passionate about British flowers and the polytunnel and flower beds are filled with a profusion of beautiful blooms. Once a week I go down with my sketchbook to see what is new and back in the studio I am putting together a collection of new paintings. As a landscape painter this is well out of my comfort zone but what a joy to be working in such glorious surroundings.
