“I am an explorer: a lover of nature, landscape, music, life. I see everything in high definition and struggle to let go of the detail. It is only be losing myself in the act of painting, focusing on the here and now of the painted space, that I am able to distil all that information into the essence of something which the viewer can experience too.”
