I stopped to sketch this on a walk back to Broughton one afternoon in late September. I had to climb a gate to get this view of the wheatfields which had turned a deep gold thanks to a Summer of dry weather. Not a colour we normally see but glorious in the sunlight.
Pewter and gold waxed tray frame.
