El Tico Sunset
Oil on aluminium, 50 x 40cm, mounted on a subframe and ready to hang. UK SHIPPING INCLUDED
We have a family tradition that we always go to El Tico when I return home to Jersey. I spent my teenage years and early twenties learning how to surf along St Ouen’s Bay and El Tico is the place to sit and watch the sunset. I only paint these seascapes on aluminium which has become a trademark surface for me. The work has evolved over the years and I now sand and drill back into the metal so that it catches the light and looks different from every angle.
