Spring Trees

£320.00

Oil on wood panel, 25 x 19cm, natural wood tray frame FREE UK SHIPPING

Colour is all important for me but I also like my brushmarks to reflect the feel of a landscape. If I am up early I take my working cocker spaniel Scout up the hill on the Clarendon Way. Looking back towards Broughton I am fascinated by the variety of trees and how they always look different. Spring mornings are fabulous. Pastel yellows and greens set off by a bright turquoise sky. Sometimes less is more and with this landscape it is definitely less!

Inspired by the Spring greens, particularly the beech trees around Broughton where I have my studio.
