Large Landscape Paintings
Caroline Hall’s large landscape paintings explore scale, atmosphere, and the expressive possibilities of working in oil on a substantial format. Based in Bath, Somerset, Caroline creates bold compositions inspired by the landscapes she walks across the Somerset countryside, the Cotswolds, Cornwall, and the wider UK.
Working on a large scale allows each painting to develop through gesture and layering, building depth, movement, and a strong sense of place. These large landscape paintings are created on canvas and aluminium, and range in size from 50 x 100cm to 110 x 150cm. Working at this scale allows each piece to function as statement landscape art, designed to bring presence and depth to interior spaces.
