My family home in Jersey is in St Ouen. If you walk down the cliffs from the house you arrive at L’Etacq at the North end of St Ouen’s Bay. I love sitting on the rocks here and just watching the tide come in, and I particularly love a Winter sea, reflecting green under a dark sky. This is painted on my trademark aluminium, scored with a bradawl, sanded and drilled so that the metal reflects the light.
