I was on the beach in Climping, West Sussex as Storm Ciarán rolled in last Autumn. I had to pin my board down with gravel and stones to stop it blowing away. The painting has a vigour and spontaneity that comes from having to work quickly and is currently shortlisted for a major exhibition. I don’t normally make prints of my work but this painting was special and so I decided to make a limited number available.
